Hollywood and the Entertainment Industry are changing the way society thinks and acts. The storytellers of today are Hollywood Directors, Producers and Writers. The mind molders of our children are Hollywood moviemakers. TV dictates the social norms more than your neighbor next door. Who will be shaping the future of America and of the world? Are Christian Morals and truths being taught, or is the theme of the day one of perversion and lies? There is a battle raging over Hollywood, and it is time to "sound the trumpet" and call the troops to war.
This book is written to do just that. To 'Sound the Trumpet" to the Christian Community about the details of the fight in Hollywood and how they can get involved. Learn about the impact of the entertainment industry. Meet some of the team here in Hollywood, and then find out how to join us in the fight. We need you! CHAPTER 1 - THE HOLLYWOOD BATTLE

In the industry the battle is raging. Actors must daily answer questions like: Who is Lord in my life? Jesus, or the Studio Executive that just told me that if I don't shed my clothes in the scene tomorrow, I'll never act again? Do I compromise and accept an audition that my agent claims is my big break even though I know this is not a movie I should be in? Do I agree to Direct the movie even after I find out it is all about children who do not honor their Father and Mother and are seen as heroes, when I know that is breaking God's law?
These are not far-fetched questions. These are everyday issues for almost every Christian in the industry. Each and every issue, each and every decision, is one where we will either worship and obey God and the Bible, or we will allow Hollywood to become Lord of our life instead. The battle is daily. CHAPTER 2 - THE HISTORY OF HOLLYWOOD & GLOBAL IMPACT
To fully understand the battle, you must understand the History. The History of Hollywood has two Historical paths that must be explored. The first is the tale of a city. The history of the geographical region we now call Hollywood, which is actually an area of the city of Los Angeles. The second is the tale of an industry. The history of the development of the Motion Picture Industry and how it came to call Hollywood home. These two paths of history will eventually lead us to the early 1900's when Hollywood became the center of the Motion Picture Industry. Learn how the History of Hollywood affects your life today.
Hollywood impacts the world. It is something we all know, but the depth of the impact is overwhelming. Hollywood is exporting it's values and belief system, and standard of excellence in production, throughout the world. The low standard of morals and values has many people concerned around the world. The very high production value of our Hollywood films has virtually raised the standard of expectation of audiences around the world. Many filmmakers in other countries are unable to make films that their local audiences care to see because they have been spoiled by the high production quality of our films. CHAPTER 3 - HOLLYWOOD AND THE CHURCH TODAY
Many of the arguments against using the media in churches today, and even using media to tell the story of Christ, are not new arguments. As a matter of fact, they sound a lot like the arguments that were presented when the idea of WRITING Christian Doctrine was first presented. Some would go as far as to claim using media, specifically movies, in the church is heresy. They might say, "Could anything good come out of Hollywood." Some are not only opposed to using movies as examples for sermon illustrations or as a basis for outreach, they claim that even "Christian movies" are not good. Claiming that using Hollywood to tell Christ's' story, or any Biblical story, is destroying the accuracy and even the intent of the Bible.
I believe we can, and we should, use the medium of film and T.V. to tell the story of God. And secular Hollywood, has indeed been telling our stories from the beginning... So, whether we like it or not, Hollywood does tell the stories of God: Biblical Stories and the testimonies of God in people's lives. Learn how we can use Hollywood to tell the stories of God.
CHAPTER 4 - THE HOLLYWOOD ARMY
Meet some of the 'team' in Hollywood, and discover the strategies that the Lord has given to them to reclaim the territory. Hear stories from a number of people called to Hollywood, and "The Industry." Stories of Producers, Directors, Actors, Stunt Men, Studio Executives, Writers, Production Crew Members, as well as Teachers/Professors, Pastors, Intercessors and Worshipping Warriors that are all called to this battle to reclaim the soul of American Film and TV. There are thousands like them. Some are much more 'famous' and some, like many of these in the book, you have never heard of.
